Jan Murk

Jan Murk has extensive experience in public affairs, project management, and advocacy, currently serving as Directeur Opvang and Hoofd Bureau Opvang at Nidos, the national guardianship institution for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in the Netherlands, since September 2015. Additionally, Jan Murk is a member of the Supervisory Board at Stichting De Tussenvoorziening. Prior experience includes roles as an Advocacy Officer at UNICEF Nederland and a Public Affairs Consultant at Van Belang & Partners, where responsibilities encompassed lobbying, strategy development, and stakeholder management. Jan Murk also has a background in project management and lobbying with JM Consultancy and HIT Foundation, and previously served as a Political Assistant in the European Parliament. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Administration & Organizational Science from Radboud University and a foundation year in European Governance from the University of Twente.
