Emily Simões

Emily Sim, PA-C, is a Melanoma Medical Oncology Physician Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center since October 2021, where responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, treatment planning, and education on melanoma and skin cancer therapies. Prior to this role, Emily served as an Inpatient Oncology Physician Assistant at UT Southwestern Medical Center, managing oncology patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Emily's early experience includes a public health internship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where audit and reporting tasks were completed, and a similar role at Austin Public Health, which focused on immunization programs. Emily holds a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
