Carissa Wong, CPA has extensive work experience in the field of accounting. Carissa began their career in 2016 at the Canada Revenue Agency, where they worked as a Collections Contact Officer for eight months. In 2017, they joined BCI as a Tax Compliance Co-op Student, and later returned to BCI in 2018 for internships in Corporate Accounting and Tax Compliance roles. In 2019, Carissa joined KPMG Canada as a Staff Accountant, where they worked for two years before being promoted to the position of Senior Accountant. Currently, Carissa is employed at Stillfront Group as a Senior Accountant, based in North America.
Carissa Wong, CPA, has a solid educational background in accounting and finance. Carissa obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting from Camosun College, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. During their time at Camosun College, Carissa also earned a Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, which they completed from 2013 to 2017.
Carissa is currently pursuing their education at Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Carissa is expected to complete their studies in 2023. In addition to their educational achievements, Carissa has obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification from CPA Canada in February 2023.
