Geresh Ramavat

Geresh Ramavat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in plant operations, procurement, and strategic management. Currently serving as the Plant Head for Optical Interconnect at STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited since June 2017, Geresh leads a large team to drive operational excellence and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Previously, Geresh held positions such as Head of Global SCM and Head of Central Procurement at STL, where procurement operations were optimized even during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier career highlights include serving as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Manipal Technologies Ltd, overseeing strategic projects at The Manipal Group, and leading various consulting roles at Capgemini and Kanbay. Geresh holds a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from COEP Technological University.
