Erik Smit

Erik Smit has extensive experience in human resources and total rewards, currently serving as Global Director of Total Rewards at Stolt-Nielsen Limited since April 2015, following roles as Global Manager and Compensation & Benefits Specialist within the same organization. Prior to Stolt-Nielsen, Erik held positions at Port of Rotterdam as an Advisor Labour Affairs and HR Advisor from August 2011 to January 2015, and served as a Senior HR Consultant and HR Consultant at A.P. Moller - Maersk from November 2007 to July 2011. Erik began his career as a Supply Chain Planner at Royal Numico NV from July 2005 to October 2007. Erik holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam, completed in 2006, and has a foundational education from Breda University of Applied Sciences and Chr. Lyceum Gouda, culminating in a VWO degree in 1999.
