Bertrand Gilson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Bertrand began their career in 1998 as a Senior Consultant at Business Solutions Builders, where they specialized in custody core systems. In 2006, they joined KPMG Advisory as an Assistant Manager and later became a Senior Business Advisor, handling international projects on custody re-engineering and performing business analysis and process modeling.
In 2009, Gilson joined Stonefort Group as Head of Marketing and External Communication, a role they held until 2022. Additionally, they served as Chief Investment Officer at Stonefort Insurance Holdings S.A. from 2012 to 2021, managing investment operations. At Stonefort Captive Management, Gilson worked as a Client Relationship Manager from 2009 to 2022.
Furthermore, Gilson served on the Board of Directors for Steinfort Multi-Asset Fund SICAV-SIF from 2016 to 2021. Bertrand also worked as a Finance and External Relationship Manager at Builders Credit Reinsurance Company SA from 2010 to 2012 and as a Finance & External Relationship Manager at Contractors' Casualty & Surety Reinsurance Company S.A. from 2009 to 2011.
Throughout their career, Gilson has demonstrated expertise in marketing, external communication, investment management, and relationship management. Bertrand has strong analytical skills, project management experience, and proficiency in business process modeling.
Bertrand Gilson attended the New York Institute of Finance in 2013, where they completed a program in Portfolio Management Academy. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science in Business Engineering from 1990 to 1995 at the Université catholique de Louvain. Their degree focused on Economics, Business, Management, and International Finance. In addition to their formal education, Bertrand also attained various specializations and certifications throughout their academic journey.
