Emily Snyder

Emily Snyder has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Director of the Department of Student Community Development at Stony Brook University since January 2007. Prior roles at Stony Brook University include Associate Director and Assistant Director of Commuter Student Services and Off-Campus Living, as well as Senior Advisor and Advisor in the same department. Prior to joining Stony Brook, Emily Snyder worked as a Career Assessment Assistant to the Executive Vice President at Fenestra, Inc. and completed internships at Binghamton University in both the Career Development Center and the Office of Admissions while also serving as a Graduate Academic Advisor. Emily Snyder holds a Master of Arts in Social Science and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, both from Binghamton University.
