James Prudenti

James Prudenti has over 30 years of experience in facilities and operations management within academic and healthcare environments. Currently serving as the Director of East Campus Plant Operations at Stony Brook University since January 2002, James has successfully reorganized the Physical Plant department to enhance accountability and service quality. Prior to this role, James worked as a Facilities Manager at SUNY Stony Brook from April 1990 to January 2002, overseeing the daily operations of the Electrical department, HVAC systems, and East Campus elevators, while managing personnel and budgets in those areas. James holds a degree from Farmingdale State College (1994-1998) and continued education at the University of Maryland in 2006.
