Michael Ayala

Michael Ayala is a seasoned professional in both technology and music, currently serving as Cloud Solutions Manager at Stony Brook University since November 2017. With extensive experience in cloud engineering and systems operations, Michael has held various positions within Stony Brook Medicine and contributed significantly to the Office of Athletic Bands in multiple capacities, including Drumline Instructor and Media Consultant. In addition to roles in education, Michael serves as Marching Band Assistant Director at Connetquot High School and Drumline Coordinator at Ward Melville High School. A performing musician, Michael has worked as a drummer and percussionist for numerous productions and maintains a freelance career in music since 2008. Michael holds advanced degrees in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Electrical Engineering, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, all from Stony Brook University.
