Stephen Clacherty

Stephen Clacherty currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at Syracuse University, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this role, Stephen was the Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance at Stony Brook University from March 2009 and held the Assistant Director of Compliance position at the University of Miami from July 2006 to February 2009. Earlier career experience includes serving as Compliance Coordinator at Seton Hall University from July 2004 to July 2006. Stephen Clacherty holds a Juris Doctor degree from St. John's University School of Law (2016), a Master's degree in Public Relations from the University of Miami (2008), and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the State University of New York Cortland (2004).
