Kara Merrill

Kara Merrill has over 20 years of work experience in various finance and management roles. Kara is currently working as the Director of Commercial Management Control at Stonyfield since July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Co-Owner and Vice President, Treasurer at Boxford Community Kitchen, a local restaurant that has been in their family for three generations. From 2006 to 2020, Kara worked at Lifetime Brands, where they held multiple positions including Vice President of Business Analysis and Director of Special Projects, Finance. Before joining Lifetime Brands, they worked at Syratech Corporation as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Manager of Sales Planning. Kara also has experience working at eLogic Corporation as the Director of Finance, Finance Manager, and Financial Analyst. Kara started their career as a Cost Accountant at Syratech Corporation. Throughout their career, Kara has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and project management.

Kara Merrill attended Masconomet Regional High School from 1990 to 1994, where they did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. Kara later pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy at Villanova University from 1994 to 1998. Kara then furthered their education by obtaining an MBA in Corporate Finance from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2006 to 2007.
