Aleksi Somervaara

Aleksi Somervaara is a finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and reporting, currently serving as the Manager, Treasury Controller at Stora Enso since May 2019. In this role, Aleksi oversees treasury and financial reporting at the group level, including IFRS accounting and CFO reporting. Previously, Aleksi held positions as Senior Analyst and Analyst in Group Accounting and Reporting, managing lease, fixed assets, and inventories reporting, and leading the ESEF iXBRL annual financial statement reporting. Aleksi began the career at Grant Thornton Finland as an Audit Trainee and has also held various positions in material handling and administrative support. Aleksi holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Turku School of Economics.
