Storegga

Storegga, a business established in 2020 as an independent champion for the development of carbon reduction and carbon removal technologies. Storegga is leading the Scottish Cluster and is the lead developer of the Acorn Project in North East Scotland. Storegga is developing infrastructure across the entire carbon ecosystem – capture, transport and permanent deep geological storage. Establishing transport and storage solutions for carbon dioxide enables other opportunities, such as low-carbon hydrogen generation and direct air capture. Storegga is progressing projects in all these areas, proving new technologies at scale, establishing commercial and employment opportunities and meeting net zero goals. In 2020, Storegga acquired Pale Blue Dot, the lead developer of the Acorn CCS and the Acorn Hydrogen Project in North East Scotland. Together, Storegga is a multi-disciplinary team with diverse experience in delivering major infrastructure projects and growing successful businesses. https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/the-acorn-project-uk
