Tommy Hart is an experienced professional in the field of consents and environmental management, currently serving as the Consents and Environment Manager at Storegga since January 2024, where responsibilities include leading the onshore consenting processes for the Acorn Carbon Capture and Storage Project and related Hydrogen Projects. Prior to this role, Tommy held positions at SSEN Transmission as Lead Consents & Environment Manager and at Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks as Town Planner. A background in land management was established at Barratt North Scotland, followed by a significant tenure at Aberdeen City Council, overseeing multiple residential and commercial planning projects. Education includes a BLE (hons) in Urban Planning and Surveying from the University of Aberdeen.

Storegga
Storegga, a business established in 2020 as an independent champion for the development of carbon reduction and carbon removal technologies. Storegga is leading the Scottish Cluster and is the lead developer of the Acorn Project in North East Scotland. Storegga is developing infrastructure across the entire carbon ecosystem – capture, transport and permanent deep geological storage. Establishing transport and storage solutions for carbon dioxide enables other opportunities, such as low-carbon hydrogen generation and direct air capture. Storegga is progressing projects in all these areas, proving new technologies at scale, establishing commercial and employment opportunities and meeting net zero goals. In 2020, Storegga acquired Pale Blue Dot, the lead developer of the Acorn CCS and the Acorn Hydrogen Project in North East Scotland.
