Hanyun L. has a diverse work experience starting from Georgetown College Dean's Office, where they worked as an Office Assistant. Hanyun then went on to work at Virginia Tech as a Data Analyst Intern, where they built infrastructure for Arlington County with open source data and conducted data cleaning and imputation. Hanyun furthered their education at Georgetown University, where they held roles as a Tutor/Teaching Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant. At Glotech, Inc., Hanyun worked as a Statistician, providing statistical support and handling various data/statistical tasks using R, SAS, and Python. Hanyun then joined comScore, Inc. as a Senior Statistical Analyst before moving to Capital One, where they held positions as a Senior Data Scientist, Principal Data Scientist, and Manager, Data Science in Upmarket Acquisition Data Science. Currently, Hanyun is working at Stori as the Director, Data Science.

Hanyun L. is a Ph.D candidate in Statistics Science at George Mason University since 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics and Statistics from Georgetown University in 2015. They also completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Fudan University in 2013. In addition, Hanyun L. holds certifications from SAS® Global Certification Program, including SAS Certified Advanced Programmer obtained in 2015 and SAS Certified Base Programmer obtained in 2014.
