Piyush Kumar

Piyush Kumar is a Vice President at STR where Piyush leads the Cyber-SPARC and Cyber Physical Systems groups. With a background in Machine Learning, Theoretical Physics, and Probabilistic Methods, Piyush has conducted research at various prestigious institutions and has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Michigan. Piyush has also worked as a Research Scientist at Wolfram Research, Yale University, Columbia University, and University of California, Berkeley. Piyush's expertise includes applying state-of-the-art methods in Machine Learning, Graph Theory, Mathematical Optimization, and insights from Statistical Physics and Quantum Physics.
