Mr. Paul Yi is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Straits Real Estate Pte. Ltd. (“Straits Real Estate”). Concurrently, he has been the Chief Investment Officer since joining the company in October 2016. He is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s investment strategies globally.
Mr. Yi has over 25 years of experience across various asset classes and geographies. Before joining Straits Real Estate, he was the CEO of ARA Managers (Asia Dragon II) Pte. Ltd. and Head of Investments for ARA Private Funds. Prior to that, he was based in Japan for three years as Head of Business Development at Capmark Finance. He was also the Head of Investments under Merrill Lynch’s global principal investments group for four years in Korea and Hong Kong and previously held roles at BlackRock and PNC Bank in the United States.
Mr. Yi holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the Pennsylvania State University, USA.
