Mikayla Swinkels

Mikayla Swinkels is a Junior Application Developer at STRATACACHE since April 2021, following completion of an intensive Full Stack Software Development boot camp at Nashville Software School, where skills in building applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, and Django were developed. Prior experience includes roles in animal care at the Nashville Zoo and Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, where responsibilities involved managing animal care, implementing enrichment programs, and educating the public. Earlier experience also includes positions as a Camp Counselor and Kennel Assistant, focusing on the welfare of animals and adherence to care protocols. Mikayla holds a Full Stack Software Development Certificate from Nashville Software School, an Exotic Animal Training and Management degree from Moorpark College, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Humboldt State University.
