Lauren Thompson

Lauren Thompson is an experienced professional in the sports and food industries, currently serving as an Account Representative at Stratas Foods since November 2011, where responsibilities include collaborating with food distributors to provide edible oils and shortenings. Previously, Lauren held the position of Tennis Events Director at The Racquet Club of Memphis from April 2010 to October 2011, overseeing the organization, promotion, and coordination of local and national tennis events. Prior experience includes a Sales and Marketing Internship for the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships and Cellular South Cup, generating revenue through ticket sales, as well as a role with the Memphis Grizzlies NBA Team, focusing on ticket package sales. Lauren also served as the Head Coach for the Memphis Juniors Volleyball Club from December 2008 to April 2009. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Sports Sciences with a focus on Sport & Leisure Management from The University of Memphis, completed in 2010.
