Ana Salvagna

Ana Salvagna is currently a consultant at Strategy. Ana has previous experience working in communications and legislative affairs, most recently serving as the Legislative Affairs and Communications Coordinator for the City of Toronto. In this role, they provided strategic advice and support to the Deputy Mayor across a variety of city sectors, including economic development and culture. Ana was also responsible for all communications for the Deputy Mayor’s office, including newsletters, social media, and briefing notes. In addition, they facilitated town hall meetings, took stakeholder meetings, and attended events on behalf of the Deputy Mayor when required.

Before their time at the City of Toronto, Ana worked as an account coordinator at GLO Communications, a boutique agency that works with clients in the entertainment, consumer/fashion, education, and publishing sectors. In this role, they supported public and media relations activities and pitched client news and events across media formats including print, television, radio, and blogs. Ana also managed corporate social media accounts and collaborated with the company Principal to plan and execute the company’s signature event during the Toronto International Film Festival.

Ana Salvagna has a Bachelor's Degree in English Specialist with a Minor in Theirtory from the University of Toronto and an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Public Relations Postgraduate from Humber College.

Ana Salvagna reports to Elan Harper, Vice President. Ana Salvagna works with Brian Teefy - Consultant, Ed Sajecki - Senior Advisor, and Matt Holland - Consultant.
