Marco Violo

Marco is a Consultant with StrategyCorp’s Toronto office, supporting clients in the firm’s Government Relations Practice.

Prior to joining StrategyCorp, Marco worked as a Government Relations Analyst at Primerica Financial Services advising on regulatory issues relating to insurance and securities. On the policy side, Marco has a deep understanding of intergovernmental processes, including knowledge of different levels of governments, how they function, and barriers to policymaking. In addition to advising on financial policies, Marco has a strong background in research and policy development on topics surrounding environmental policy, privacy, economic human rights, as well as terrorism and counterterrorism.

Marco holds a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from the Balsillie School of International Affairs, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Political Science from the University of Guelph.
