History And Heritage Specialist at Strathcona County

Lori Clapp has extensive experience in heritage and communications, beginning with a role as Project Assistant at the Alberta Council on Aging in 1987. Following a brief tenure as an Interpreter for the City of Edmonton, Lori Clapp joined Strathcona County in December 1988, where responsibilities have included serving as Communications Coordinator, History and Heritage Specialist, and Lead for the Community Heritage Legacy Initiative. Prior experience also includes a position as Communications Assistant for Strathcona County Schools during a partnership between the municipality and the school system. Lori Clapp holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History from the University of Alberta, earned between 1983 and 1987.
