Derek Kerr

Derek Kerr is an experienced maintenance management professional, currently serving as Maintenance Superintendent at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since August 2020, overseeing electrical, instrumentation, automation, mechanical, and turnaround operations for Saskatchewan facilities. As President and CEO of Kerr-Netic Solutions Inc. since April 2020, Derek manages the manufacturing and marketing of the Tri Flo Diffuser in partnership with Kings Energy Services. Previous roles include Maintenance Superintendent and Facilities Senior Operator at Cona Resources Ltd., as well as Operations Superintendent at Northern Blizzard Resources Inc., and various heavy oil operational positions at Nexen, where a comprehensive understanding of heavy oil processes was developed. Derek holds a Grade 12 graduation from Northwest Central School and a certification in Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) from Northern Lakes College.
