Doug Gerow

Doug Gerow is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an Operator at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since March 2021, Doug previously held various leadership roles at Husky Energy, including Sr. Supervisor and Steam Lead Operator, from July 2015 to January 2021. Prior experience also includes positions as Shift Supervisor at Grizzly Oil Sands ULC and Production Technician at Suncor Energy. Doug's background features project management as a Project Manager at Gerow Consulting Services and a role as Chief Engineer/Energy Manager at Mitchell's Gourmet Foods. Doug began the career as a Utility Operator at SaskPower from 1991 to 1999. Doug holds a degree in Power Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, obtained between 1989 and 1991.
