Greg Bednarchuk has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Greg started their career in 2004 as a Flush-by Swamper/General Labourer at E-Can Oilfield Services LP. In 2006, they joined Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) as a Plant and Control Room Operator at Wolf Lake Thermal. Greg then moved to Devon Energy in 2010, where they held multiple roles including Plant/Control Room/Swing Operator at Jackfish 2 and Jackfish 3 Production Foreman. In 2017, they worked as a C&SU Ops Supervisor at Suncor Energy and later as part of the Operations team at Imperial Oil. In 2018, Greg joined BlackPearl Resources Inc as a Control Room Operator and subsequently joined Strathcona Resources Ltd. as a Shift Engineer-Orion.

Greg Bednarchuk attended Portage College from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a 4th + 3rd Class Power Engineering Certification. Greg later pursued further education at ABSA from 2018 to 2019, earning a Second Class Power Engineer degree.
