Ken Squire

Ken Squire has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Ken began their career in 2002 as a Term Unit Operator at TransAlta, where they worked in various roles related to coal-fired power generation. In 2004, Ken joined Albian Sands Energy Inc. as a Shift Operator for two years before moving on to OPTI Canada in 2006, where they worked as a Commissioning and Start Up Operator. Ken then joined Husky Energy in 2007, progressing through several roles including Unit Operator, Control Room Operator, Shift Engineer, and Project Coordinator. Currently, Ken is the Operations Specialist at Strathcona Resources Ltd., where their role involves coordinating between stakeholders and regulators and focusing on technical alignment of resources and assets.

Ken Squire's education history includes a Project Leadership Certificate from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in 2011-2012, with a field of study in Project Management. Additionally, they obtained a Power Engineering Certificate from Portage College in 2002-2004, specializing in Power Engineering.
