Scott Schultz is currently the Sr Director - Engineering and Chief Engineer at Stratolaunch since October 2019. Prior to that, Scott worked at The Spaceship Company and Scaled Composites, LLC in various engineering roles. At Scaled Composites, Scott was responsible for leading structural integrity efforts, wing-to-body joint engineering, and managing the wing group. Scott also gained experience at NASA as an Operations & Structures Engineering Co-op. Before their aerospace engineering career, Scott worked as a DC-3TP Captain at Baja Air and as a Captain of a Cessna 402 at Cape Air. Scott holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California State University, Northridge.
