David Gutierrez, M.Sc. is a seasoned quality control professional with extensive experience in analytical method implementation and troubleshooting within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as a Quality Control Sr. Scientist at Garuda Therapeutics, David has previously worked at Takeda in various roles, culminating as a QC Scientist, where expertise in HPLC methods and Chromatography was applied to support significant investigations and manage over 110 analytical methods. Prior experience includes positions at Shire, focusing on qPCR platform qualification and microbiology, as well as supervisory and laboratory roles at Labcontrol and research assistant positions in microbiological studies. David holds a Master's degree in Bioscience Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Universidad de Los Andes.
