Currently serving as Director of Ecosystem Restoration at Straughan Environmental, Inc. since April 2017, Joe Arrowsmith focuses on advancing sustainable environmental solutions. Prior roles include Ecological Engineer at Underwood & Associates, where design and support for projects such as stream restoration and living shorelines were provided, and Water Resources Engineer at Stantec, contributing to FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program. Joe Arrowsmith also has experience as an Engineering Intern at William H. Gordon Associates. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
