Sebastian Scherer is an experienced logistics and operations professional, currently serving as Head of Logistics at STRAUSS since March 2023. Prior to this role, Sebastian held various leadership positions at Gerresheimer Moulded Glass GmbH, including Head of Operations for Inspection & Packaging from October 2017 to February 2023. Sebastian's extensive background at Hilite International spanned from August 2007 to September 2017, where roles included Director Global Purchasing and Manager Global Project Purchasing, among others. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Supply Quality Engineer at Siemens VDO Automotive AG from September 2003 to July 2007. Sebastian's academic credentials include a Prof. Master of Science (MSc) in Supply Chain Management from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems and a Technischer Betriebswirt from IHK Würzburg, complemented by a degree as Staatl. geprüfter Techniker in Maschinenbau - Automatisierungstechnik from Fachschule für Maschinentechnik in Schlüchtern.
