Erez Bar

Erez Bar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Erez currently works at Strauss Water Ltd. as a Product Leader, where they are responsible for starting and defining a new line of IoT water bar products. Erez also translates market insights into strategies and creates a customer view through IoT and digital data.

Prior to their role at Strauss Water Ltd., Erez worked as a Lecturer at Sela Group in 2014. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Product Management consultant, advising and supporting the launch of IoT products. Erez also led a big data project aimed at reducing traffic data costs.

From 2015 to 2018, Erez was the Head of Product at Internovus, where they led a SaaS solution for campaign optimization and managed the product life cycle of a campaign monitoring system. Before that, they served as a Senior Product Manager at Internovus.

In 2013, Erez worked as a Product Manager and Co-Founder at Smartaf, where they built cross-platform applications for kindergartens and managed product activities from inception to deployment.

In 2012, Erez was a Research and Development Group Manager at Astea International, leading software and test engineers in developing dynamic scheduling systems. Erez also implemented Agile methodologies across multiple engineering groups.

From 2006 to 2011, Erez worked at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, first as a Senior Software Developer and later as a Tech Leader. Erez was responsible for developing mission-critical systems and troubleshooting performance issues.

Lastly, in 2004, Erez served as an IT Manager at Omnitech.

Throughout their career, Erez has demonstrated expertise in product management, IoT, big data, and Agile methodologies, among other areas.

Erez Bar's education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled in the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Erez pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Management Engineering and completed their studies in 1997. After a gap of several years, Erez resumed their education in 2001, this time at the University of Haifa. There, they pursued another Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, this time in Computer Science. Erez graduated from the University of Haifa in 2004. More recently, in 2017 and 2018, Erez returned to the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology to participate in a Product Management Course, focusing on the field of Product Management.
