Kateri Cotter is a seasoned graphic designer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the creative industry. As the co-owner of The Cheshire Grin Cat Cafe since August 2019, Kateri combines business acumen with artistic expertise. At Stray Rescue of St. Louis, serving as Art Director and Graphic Designer since March 2015, Kateri has successfully created visual graphics and executed impactful campaigns. Additionally, Kateri has worked as a freelance graphic artist since May 2010 and previously designed for Mark Lemp Footwear from June 2012 to March 2015, where responsibilities included photography direction and outfit selection for product shoots. Kateri holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Webster University, earned between 2006 and 2011.

We seek out and take in those who no other organization will help or would simply euthanize because they are too expensive to heal. We rescue the abandoned, beaten, bred, fought, injured, terrified, defeated and betrayed. The minute they enter our doors, we look in their eyes and promise them ALL the second chance they deserve for health, home, commitment and love, no matter the time or cost.
