Janardan Mainali, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in geospatial data science and environmental management. Currently serving as the Lead Geospatial Data Scientist at Streamline Technologies, Janardan also holds the position of Managing Editor for the Journal of Environmental Management, where responsibilities include initial article screenings and author feedback. Previous roles include a Brown Teacher-Scholar Fellow focused on environmental resilience at Stetson University, with a record of research in spatial optimization and vulnerability analysis, and a Ph.D. Candidate at Portland State University, where Janardan completed significant research on environmental risk assessment and published multiple papers. Educational achievements encompass a Ph.D. in Earth, Environment, and Society, an MSc in Geography, and a Master's in Botany with expertise in remote sensing and GIS.
