Rusty Laforge

Rusty LaForge has extensive experience in the legal field, beginning their career as an Attorney at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in 2002. Rusty later joined McAfee & Taft as an Attorney in 2006, where they stayed until 2007 before taking on the role of SVP, Director of Investor Relations at Guaranty Financial Group Inc. In 2009, LaForge returned to McAfee & Taft as an Attorney until 2012 when they transitioned to EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at both Southwest Bancorp, Inc. and Bank SNB. Rusty held this position until 2017 when they moved to Mammoth Energy Services, Inc. as VP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary until 2019. LaForge's most recent role is with Stride Bank, N.A. as EVP, General Counsel starting in 2019. Additionally, they served as a Carl Albert Executive Fellow at the Oklahoma Department of Securities from 2000 to 2002 and as the Director of Finance at the Office of Governor Frank Keating, State of Oklahoma from 1998 to 1999.

Rusty LaForge obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, having studied there from 1999 to 2002. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting at Oklahoma State University, spanning from 1993 to 1998. Rusty's education began at Chickasha Public Schools, where they completed their high school education. The exact start year for this is unknown, but it was completed in 1993.
