Strides
Vivekanand Sawarkar has a strong background in quality assurance and management in the pharmaceutical industry. Vivekanand started their career at Cadila Pharmaceuticals in 1993 as a Senior Technical Supervisor in Production. Vivekanand then moved on to Piramal Enterprises Limited in 1995 as a Senior Manager in Quality Assurance. In 2004, they joined GlaxoSmithKline as a QA Manager before becoming a Senior Manager in Quality Assurance at Sun Pharma in 2005. Most recently, they worked at Strides as the Head of Corporate QA, where they were responsible for various areas such as quality system management, regulatory audit and compliance, and vendor audits.
Vivekanand Sawarkar pursued their education at Nagpur University. Vivekanand first completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmaceutics from 1987 to 1991. Following this, from 1991 to 1993, they furthered their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Pharmacy degree, specializing in Pharmaceutics.
