Zac McCarrey

Zac McCarrey is a geologist with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving at Strike Energy since December 2024. Zac has held various leadership roles within PESA Energy Geoscience since August 2018, including Vice President and Event Coordinator for the WA Branch. Previously, Zac worked as a geoscientist at 88 Energy Ltd and Western Gas, as well as in junior positions at both companies. Earlier roles include a geologist/lab technician at GTI Perth and a geoscience vacation student at Santos Ltd. Zac's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Basin Analysis and Petroleum Geology from Curtin University and a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Geology and Resource Economics from The University of Western Australia.
