Rahul Iyer is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Head of Engineering for Terminal and Local Payment Methods at Stripe since September 2019, Rahul oversees technical teams focused on in-person payments and local payment method solutions. Prior to this role, Rahul held significant positions at Airbnb, including Head of Production Platform and Senior Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included managing a large organization dedicated to production and development infrastructure. Earlier career experiences include roles at Facebook, Nod Labs, and NetApp, contributing to projects in software engineering, infrastructure, and device driver development. Rahul holds a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
