Blake Kappel

Blake Kappel is an experienced frontend developer currently working at Striveworks since February 2022, with a robust background in software engineering. Prior to this, Blake held multiple roles at The Home Depot from January 2018 to February 2022, including Senior Software Engineer and Full Stack Software Engineer, where contributions included building a new loyalty platform utilizing Google Cloud Platform, Java, Spring Framework, React, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs. Previous experience encompasses leadership as Assistant Director at Explore Horizons, administrative tasks at Starfish Project, and various roles in customer service and production. Blake holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Global Studies and a Computer Science certificate from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by an exchange program at Tsinghua University.
