George Torres is an accomplished R&D Lead at Striveworks since May 2019, specializing in machine learning research and development. Prior to this role, George served as a Data Scientist at Striveworks, focusing on computer vision, natural language processing, and software engineering. George also contributed as an Adjunct Research Associate at the Institute for Defense Analyses from June 2016 to September 2018, working on communications security. Additionally, George gained experience as a Mathematics intern at the National Security Agency during the Director's Summer Program in 2014 and 2015. George holds a PhD in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in July 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from Harvard University, earned in May 2017.
