Mark Filley is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer currently working at Striveworks since November 2021, having previously held a similar role at IBM from February 2010 to November 2021. At IBM, Mark led the Site Reliability Engineering team within the Watson Cloud Network Engineering division, overseeing the SDN overlay network for IBM VPC. Additionally, Mark has held several engineering and support roles, including Senior L2 Support Engineer for IBM BPM and Technical Operations Specialist for Lombardi Software. Mark also has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of MarksMaps.info and has a background in education as an Assistant English Teacher in Japan through the JET Program. Mark earned a BS in Mathematics with a focus on computer science from The University of Texas at Austin.
