Before that, they worked as a Freelance Consultant at Charlotte Potter Consultant from 2010 to 2012. Charlotte provided consulting services in various areas.
From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Programme Manager at Age UK. In this role, they led a successful policy programme on public sector reform and supported the team through a merger.
Charlotte also had experiences in organizations such as the Cabinet Office, Help the Aged, British Red Cross, Lewisham Strategic Partnership, and KPMG, where they held various positions and roles.

Charlotte Potter completed their Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Italian and French from the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Development Studies at the SOAS University of London, completing it from 2003 to 2004.

The Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. They believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. They provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives. Rebuilding lives after a stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there. To help in the recovery of stroke survivors the Stroke Association provides information, support and advice. Their key areas of work include: support services, information, research, fundraising, campaigning, and volunteering.
