Rita Batshon has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Rita is currently serving as the Head of Brand and Content at the Stroke Association since April 2021. Prior to this, they volunteered as a CharityComms Mentor at CharityComms in 2020. From October 2020 to April 2021, they worked as a Brand and Labelling Manager at The Carbon Trust. Rita also has experience as a Brand Manager at the Stroke Association (2018-2020) and Australia Post (2015-2018). Rita has held the role of Senior Client Manager at both Conran Design Group (2011-2015) and CDT Design (2010-2011). Rita started their career as a Freelance Assistant Director in various productions (2008-2010) and then became an Account Manager at CDT Design (2005-2008). Rita began their professional journey as a Commercial Officer at Moleseye Ltd (2002-2005).
Rita Batshon completed their Associate Diploma in Business-Advertising from RMIT University between the years 1994 and 1996. Following this, they pursued a BA Media Arts degree at Deakin University from 1998 to 2000.

The Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. They believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. They provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives. Rebuilding lives after a stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there. To help in the recovery of stroke survivors the Stroke Association provides information, support and advice. Their key areas of work include: support services, information, research, fundraising, campaigning, and volunteering.
