Shawn Duncan is an experienced professional in environmental sciences with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Executive Director and President at Strum Consulting since March 2012, Shawn has also held the position of Vice President at the same company. Previous roles include Associate Vice President at AECOM from March 2007 to March 2012, Manager of Environmental Sciences at AMEC from 2003 to 2007, and Vice-President of Environmental Services at MacDonnel Group from February 2001 to February 2003. Earlier in the career, Shawn worked as an Environmental Supervisor for Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline and as an Environmental Consultant at Washburn & Gillis. The professional background also includes experience as a Biologist at the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources, Fish and Wildlife Branch from 1990 to 1993. Shawn holds a B.Sc. in Biology from McGill University, obtained between 1986 and 1990, with further educational pursuits at the University of New Brunswick from 1991 to 1993.
