Erick Muñiz

Erick Muñiz is an accomplished professional in embedded development and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Manager in Embedded Development and Verification at Stryker since April 2018, specializing in Surgical Robotics R&D. Previous roles include Manager of Embedded Software Development and Senior Staff Engineer in the same division, where Erick led cross-functional teams and contributed to software and firmware architecture using Model Based System Engineering principles. Prior experience at Whirlpool Corporation involved leading software architecture for IoT-connected appliances, and earlier positions at Planetweb and Dextra Technologies included developing applications for internet-connected smart devices. Erick holds an M.Sc. in Automation from Tecnológico de Monterrey and is pursuing an MBA at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
