Spencer Thirtyacre is an experienced professional in conservation and education, currently serving as a Project Leader at the Student Conservation Association since April 2021. Previous experience includes working as a Corps Member at the American Conservation Experience, where involvement in multiple conservation projects and collaboration with public land agencies was key, and participation in a Leadership Development Program. Spencer also served as a Teacher at Tilden Preparatory School Marin, creating individualized lesson plans and engaging students with learning difficulties through hands-on labs. Prior experience includes a role as Lab Manager at UCSF Medical Center, overseeing lab operations and co-authoring grant requests, as well as tutoring at Merit Educational Consultants. Spencer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2018.
