Students Rising Above
Arteivia Muaava serves as the SOAR Program Lead II at Students Rising Above since August 2018, overseeing program coordination, evaluation, and student advising for low-income, first-generation college students. Arteivia has a strong background in educational support, having previously worked as a College Career Advisor, where responsibilities included providing personalized guidance on college and career development, and maintaining accurate student data. Additionally, experiences as a Summer Learning Teacher and Physical Education Teacher highlight expertise in curriculum development and classroom management. Arteivia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Santa Clara University and has engaged in various coaching and mentoring roles in athletics, enhancing leadership and teamwork skills.
