Clara Bankefors

Clara Bankefors is a versatile cultural professional with extensive experience in choreography, dance, and arts management, currently serving as a developmental strategist in culture at Studieförbundet NBV since August 2023. Since 2011, Clara has been a key creative force at Arkeolog 8, a cross-genre dance and performance collective, holding various roles including choreographer, dancer, educator, and producer. Clara has also worked as a cultural producer and operations developer at Urban Company and has held positions as a school counselor at Örjanskolan, professional dancer, project leader, and mentor in diverse educational settings. With a solid foundation in dance and movement, evidenced by a professional dancer degree from Balettakademien, Clara’s projects often explore the relationship between movement and perception, showcasing a commitment to participatory and collaborative performance practices.
