Casper Smit is a Machine Learning Engineer at Studio Automated with a background in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Casper has experience in various research internships related to Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Biophysical research. With a strong foundation in physics and astronomy, Casper has also worked in data science and IT support roles. Casper's academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics and astronomy, along with Master degrees in both Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Studio automated is a spin-off from TNO (The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research). The studio automated software is based on more than 50 years of research from TNO’s Intelligent Imaging Research Group. This group contains winners of the DARPA contest. Together with our partners, we are transforming AI Computer Vision technology into operational software for our customers.
