Jitka Zakova

Jitka Zakova is an experienced professional in the field of nuclear engineering, currently serving as Union President and Board Member at Studsvik since December 2015, where responsibilities include acting as an employee representative. Jitka has expertise in nuclear fuel calculations, project management, and technical documentation, with a focus on modeling, simulations, and the transportation of nuclear materials. Previously, Jitka worked as a Technology Consultant at ÅF and as a Researcher at KTH, where a program was developed to monitor nuclear fuel within Swedish reactors. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Reactor Physics from KTH, a Master's degree in Quantum Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague, along with a Criticality Safety Engineer certification from US-DOE.
