Haiyang Wang, PhD, is a seasoned professional and engineering manager with over 20 years of experience in the undersea fiber optic telecom industry. Currently serving as Reliability Engineering Manager at SubCom since 2003, Haiyang Wang has demonstrated expertise in product and supplier development, focusing on undersea telecom repeaters, cables, OADM nodes, PSBU, and DCU. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Tyco International, specializing in high-reliability component and assembly development, failure mode analysis, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance. Haiyang Wang holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from The University of Alabama and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
